Winter 2016 - Lynch is a really really nice guy but not a very effective professor. He often goes off on tangents or will try to explain a concept and end up confusing students even more. His tests are alright - pretty fair. Make sure to read the book thoroughly and do a lot of the practice problems. I would not like to take a class with him again but it's also not the end of the world. Not an easy class but not difficult either. Rely on outside studying a lot. Your in class notes won't make much sense because his lecturing is not that organized.
