Nayak is really cool and entertaining professor. His demos keep you awake in class. Physics 10 was ridiculously easy. As long as you do the homework problems and go over the practice tests, you'll be fine. He doesn't try to trick you, the tests are very straightforward.

Professor Nayak is friendly and his demos are entertaining. I was wary of physics because I'm not a math/science person, but I ended up with a B in the class. There are weekly quizzes and homework, each worth 3-4 points. There are also two midterms and a cumulative final, which was difficult since there were several questions about topics that he didn't go over very thoroughly. The discussions were more confusing than helpful, but office hours are beneficial. Although Professor Nayak is a new teacher for Physics 10, he did a decent job and gave a nice curve. If you're taking this course as a pre-requisite for the Psychology major - which most people are - have no fear, if you study well, you'll make it through just fine.
