The class is pretty easy. But you gotta read the book on your own. Lectures don't really help at all, because the professor is just awful at explaining lessons. But since the material is pretty simple, you could work out understanding the problems from the text itself. Barely anyone shows up to class, and discussion was even worse. The reviews by TA Dustin are really helpful, so make sure to show up to those. There's weekly homework assignments, which is what the midterm and final are based off of. He has 2 midterms and a final. The two midterms are ridiculously easy. The final is a relatively tougher but it's not too bad.

Stay as far away from this professor as you can and do not take his class!!! He cannot explain any concepts and will mess up those concepts for you that you already know! I sadly had to take his class since the other 31A classes had filled up. However, within the first week of class I realized he sucks so I started going for Conley's lectures which helped me so much! I would just go on Friday to submit the homework for rothschild! Also, the TA is really helpful and somehow compensates for the professor!

Horrible teacher. Got his examples wrong all the time. There's a reason the only times more than thirty people showed up to class were midterms and when homework was due. Also despite what other reviews from earlier terms claimed he provided no practice tests for my class. Didn't help that my TA was inept too. I implore you, take it from someone else.
