Dr Zhou is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic professor. He is passionate about the material and conveys as much in his classes. He also makes himself available to help with any questions, alleviate roadblocks you may encounter, or just discuss the topic at hand. He provides plenty of bonus exercises. But Dr Zhou is not just a lecturer. He provides plenty of examples of programming code demonstrating his knowledge and command of the material. He also provides programming code examples for advanced topics should you care to delve deeper than just the presented material.

I really enjoyed the course and hope to apply much of what I have learned to my Capstone project!

I feel I benefitted from Dr. Zhou's style of teaching. He puts it out all the information (code, in this case) out there, but structures it in a way without making it seem overwhelming. He sparks great discussions by challenging us to think about what we are doing and why, and always responds quicky to questions either in the general thread or directly. He also is very generous with code and helps come up with solutions to students' ideas. I feel very lucky to have experienced his course.
