Today is the last day of the lecture and I thought Luceigh gave us a really touching speech at the end. ^_^ Something I'll never forget as a student here at UCLA. I just want to say that Luceigh is a really good professor, she makes chemistry so much easier for me to learn. Personally, I never like chemistry much, but after this course, chemistry isn't so bad as I think. I am really lucky to have her as my professor for Chem 14B. It's rather sad that Luceigh will no longer teach next year, or else I would definitely get her class again for 14C and 14D.

I LOVED Luceigh's class . . . I took it over the summer, and trust me, that woman was NOT cutting out any of the material! It was fast-paced, and hard, but she is the cutest professor I have had so far. She was always doing little dances in class to act out molecules, or telling us funny stories. She really cares about you learning the material, and she will stop in the middle of class to make sure everyone understands. She uses slides, movies, drawing on the board, anything she can to help. Hers is the only class I have ever had where I felt completely welcome to interrupt her lecture to ask questions (okay, well, there was this one time I felt stupid...) Anyway it was a GREAT class and frankly it was the high point of my miserable summer! I would highly recommend her!

Prof. Luceigh is a wonderful professor. From previous students I had high expectation of her and they were mostly fulfilled. She has a passion for chemistry and she will try to make chem understandable for you. This quarter she had the tendency to go fast in lectures and sometime I found her course guide to be somewhat frustrating because she has the tendency to put down questions yet never answer them in the reader and lectures. overall the reader is a critical tool in her class. Do her practice exams...they will be somewhat similar to the exam you will take. Her exams were very fair this quarter overall she is a great prof to have for chem.
