If you can avoid Professor Guerin, do it. It's clear they are very educated, brilliant, and insightful in WAC subject matter, but they are incredibly lacking in their interpersonal communication. They are unapproachable, condescending, and even accusatory. I am surprised that they want to be in academia, where they are expected to help younger students. This professor has driven me away from future courses with them to the point of asking for approval to skip certain graduation requirements. In some interactions with Professor Guerin, I felt like I was getting bullied by a mean girl in high school and I have never experienced that type of decorum from a professor before. If you can avoid them, I'd highly suggest it.
