I took EEB 151A with him this past quarter. I would HIGHLY recommend a recorder...well, kind of. He tests on wierd random things (ESPECIALLY videos) but when it comes down to it, his lecture notes are SO disorganized that nothing really helps. Take this class if you have a good memory for useless/random bits of info. I learned some interesting things, but I definitely did not do well on the tests even after going through lectures multiples times. Don't miss class, because you'll miss the videos. But even if you're present, there's a good chance you'll suck at the questions on his tests because he pulls things out of nowhere. GOODLUCKKK
