I took 120A, 137 and 135 with her and for good reason, I loved all of my classes with her. She definitely holds you to a high standard but I feel she leads you to learn how to deeply analyze colonial and classical texts in both Modern and Classical Spanish. I feel she is fair and concerned about student learning and as long as you contribute in class and do the readings, her classes were NEVER difficult.

If you're looking for an easy A, she isn't the professor for you. However, if you're looking to LEARN and really saturate yourself into the texts you're reading, while still learning tons about the overall themes, historical background and modern criticism of those texts ... you will love her.

P.S. I'm not a native Spanish speaker and I did fine in all of her classes. Don't worry if you're just getting out of 25, her lectures are easy to follow.

Prof. More is not a good lecturer. She goes off on tangents even though there is not enough time to explain the material. The reading load is incredibly heavy and she has no idea how difficult she makes this course. Even native speakers in my class had difficulty with the readings. Don't take this class if you don't have to.

Prof. More is very concerned about student learning, she was also very concerned (and a bit upset) when we didn't do the reading for the lectures. I would say that was her only fault- the way she scolded us as if we were kids. But I guess I don't blame her. Her final was very fair (she didn't try to trick us) it was basically essay questions and matching.
Spanish 120A was a well organized class overall. I liked that section was worth more than the midterm!
