Dr. Ainsworth is super knowledgeable and makes the class very doable. The content of the class is super useful, whether you want to go into academia or industry. For our quarter, he taught the class in a flipped classroom style--you watched lectures on your own time and did lab/asked questions live. While some of the content can be fairly complex (like mixed methods ANOVA), the exams really only included interpretation of concepts, plug-and-chug computations, and written explanation of Jamovi output (I also felt the short answer portions were graded very generously). My only gripe is that I wish we used R instead of Jamovi (would have been more applicable), but I understand why he structured the class that way (it would have been a lot harder to do everything in 6 weeks).
