I worked hard to get the grade I earned in this class. As a psychology major, biology is not one of my strengths. Aly is an amazing teacher who is passionate about biology. He was always prepared for lectures and was clear in expectations.

Don't mind the comment, "The worst professor I have had at UCLA by far. Does not teach and constantly puts down his students."

In my opinion, Aly is an instructor who will push you to grow and engage with the material. It was a difficult summer class with an early start, so I imagine that person who complained was still in pajamas with their camera off.

The LS 7 series as a whole was not too difficult, but 7C was definitely the hardest. There is far more information than the other two classes, and the concepts are less intuitive. However, the tests are still doable. My only gripes with the class were that the discussions were graded off of correctness, which made them an overall more stressful experience during a time where we should be practicing with the material. Also, Aly would rush through important material at times. Overall, if you're taking 7C, you know by now that to get A's, you basically need to teach yourself. This class is no different. Learning objectives and CLC sessions are a must!
