1) A nice lady, but you may find that she pauses quite often, and keep saying "uh..hmm...." But it's not necessarily a bad thing as you can take your time to take note.

2) Never read the book ($82 course reader, too expensive), just studied my lecture notes + internet source

--> Midterm = 93 (Mean = 83)(rank 6th out of 6X students but still only A-)

Simply memorize everything from the lecture slides (no Q from the book luckily).....just a matter of rote memorization really (kinda like LS3)

--> Final = dunno but definitely worse than midterm, at most 8x.

The final was much HARDER, and TA has warned us that in advance....some questions are not as straightforward but still doable if you're familiar with the material....One question was from book (I skipped it)...

Final Grade: A (I can't believe it, she must have curved it up a lot)

The bitch sucks. I took her because she didnt have an eval online. Dont be fooled by her slender looks and nice smile. Theres a demon inside that tiny body. Shes mean and her exams are hard. In a class with no curve, you will die in a scenario like this.

DO NOT TAKE HER OR DO LS1 at all. all these professors suck

She clarified that if the class average is above 75 at the end of the course, she won't curve. If it's below 75, the curve will be applied so that the average will be 75.

She gave very easy Midterms with median 85 and 78, but very difficult final with median 72. I personally did well on both midterms (95% for both) and messed up my final ending up with A-. with no curve.

Until the midterm 2, I thought her lectures were waste of time. She posted lecture slides and just read them in class. It was her trap. She started putting stuff outside the textbook after MT2, so going to lectures was kinda important.

Make sure you do well on everything because there will be no curve.

***LS1***

Lectures were dry and very boring and apparently after the second midterm she started saying stuff not in the book or the lecture slides. Midterms not bad if you just study the book. Final was hard as hell, and then she doesn't curve. She says a lot of people got solid A's, but it's probably a lie, because I went into the final with an A+, got a few points above average on the final and ended up with a B+ in the class. Straight scale, I was 7 points off from an A- in a 500 point class.

This class is a joke, and she sucks at teaching.
