COVID-19 This review was submitted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your experience may vary.

Overall, I am glad that I took this class (Speeding the cure: activists, experts and health care). Professors Tobin and Noble brought unique insight to our discussions and truly seemed to enjoy teaching the course. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic the topics were particularly interesting. There was a large research paper due at the end of the course, but there were deadlines throughout to make it easier to manage. The biweekly comments on the readings and the length of the seminars themselves twice each week (participation/camera on matters) did constitute a significant workload, but the class is not difficult.

CLASS TITLE SHOULD BE HEATH ACTIVISM, NOT COLD WAR

One of my favorite classes I've taken at UCLA. Professor has very cool ideas, but very open to student's ideas. Highly recommend.
