Easy GE. I took this first quarter of my freshman year and got an A. You read three or four novels throughout the term. He gives about a week to finish the novel, and any week that doesn't have a novel you will be reading several short stories. The content of the class is not difficult at all. His lectures are very basic and pretty boring. Lectures are for discussion of whatever book or story is being read, and he tells you everything you need to know that will be on tests. He does not post lecture slides. Three tests: a mini exam, midterm, and final. Each has a quote recognition/analysis, multiple choice, and essay question. The quotes and questions used on tests are all ones that appeared in lecture. Easy class, very boring professor. He's a very nice guy, but is the classic monotone-reads-off-slide type. Oh yeah, and he ends every sentence as a question. In one lecture alone he ended his sentence with "Right?" 256 times. Yes, we counted.
