Winter 2016 - Very fun class. Professor Hernandez is great. The midterm and final are straightforward. You had to memorize songs from specific areas. Not too hard almost fun. The class is easy to follow because he is passionate about music. He has traveled a lot and he even has his own band. Fun Fact: His song "Aire" beat drake on the billboard top 100 songs. So he knows a thing or two about music. He is very easy to talk too and he is very helpful. I would take his class again. I almost enrolled again just for fun. Take him and you will be happy.

Spring 2016 - This class is structured in the same way as his 108b class. Very easy. He is fun and easy to talk too. midterm and final are about memorizing the songs he puts up on spotify. Not hard if you are familiar with Latino/a music. Take this class and you will not regret it. Its easy and fun. A huge change from the usual stressful classes. He brings live bands to perform in his class and it all relates to the class. He brings in his band and its fun to see him because you can see his passion coming from his music.
