Winter 2022 - Professor Weisberg was awesome! I had a really tough time getting used to Italian grammar and just the language overall, but she was super clear and helpful in teaching you how to to be fluent in it! She was also extremely nice and patient. The workload is light and the homework assignments and compositions you have to write translate really well to what you're going to see on exams. I would highly recommend her for Italian 1 and any other class she might be teaching, é una buona professoressa!

Spring 2022 - Italian 2 is definitely a step above in difficulty compared to Italian 1, however, it is not insanely hard. The concepts this time around take a bit more practice to master compared to those from Italian 1. Professor Weisberg is an amazing professor, I took her for both Italian 1 and 2 and let me tell you, please take Italian with her if you have the chance. She teaches concepts in a crystal clear way and is very nice! In terms of workload, the homework isn't that bad, it's similar to Italian 1 where you have to do it through MindTap; the assignments are very useful. Also, there's three compositions you have to write (each around 2-3 weeks apart) which don't take very long if you have a solid grasp of concepts. Exams are very fair and practice exams are given for each one.
