She's really nice and approachable during her office hours which were much helpful than lecture. During lecture she seems to copy the text book verbatim and doesnt seem to understand the content herself when in lecture. I think she just gets nervous. She studders a lot, and her writing is confusing. At times she'll switch from one variable to another without noticing herself, and her I's look like Y's so beware. But overall her class is doable. Generous curve. Try to study hard and you should pass.
Kwiatkowska is a pretty decent lecturer, she is nice as a person, and she can be very helpful during her office hours. Overall, I enjoyed the class. Exams were fair, homework prepared me well for them. The curve was pretty generous.
She's an absolutely horrendous lecturer. She always makes mistakes when explaining concepts and goes verbatim by the book which can be both good and bad. Going to lecture is unnecessary and she can make everything even more confusing than just by reading the book alone. Her tests are not bad but definitely do the hw which helps (there's not a lot of it).
Overall, if you think you are good at learning on your own go for her but otherwise stay very very far away.
Stay away unless you already know everything about 31B.
It was difficult to understand her at times, she always seemed nervous and unsure of what she was writing, and she did not do a very good job of explaining concepts and procedures.
Her tests were not ridiculously difficult but you will need to study to do well.
As long as you keep up with homework, get a good TA (I had Brent Woodhouse), and don't mind nervous professors, then go for this one.
