Yep, it's true folks. All the comments below are spot-on. Take Professor Garfinkel's LS30 (series?) and you will not be disappointed. Awesome, quick email responses from the teaching assistants (Jane, Maggie, Henry and Maddie), very smart classmates who, unlike other pre-medical classes, seem to want to help you (like the awesome guy (classmate) that was mentioned below), and ultimately Dr. Garfinkel, who is incredibly fantastic. Take this class, or forever weep when other people tell you about how fantastic his class was.

It is true what people say about Dr. Garfinkel. He is charismatic, enthusiastic, and without need to say, brilliant. His classes are among the most fascinating that I have ever had the privilege of taking, and his teaching style ensures that you understand every word and concept of his lectures. He genuinely cares about student learning, and though he is unavailable for emails due to his immensely busy schedule, he will go out of his way to help you during office hours. He is an amazing individual and I truly respect this man.

He has a great teaching style and all his exams are fair.

Professor Garfinkel explains EVERYTHING. His lectures are thorough and he writes down every detail you need for your notes.

There isn't too much homework and he truly cares about his students!
