A fantastic professor and a very understanding guy. He had very well-organized and interesting lectures and answered questions spectacularly well. The lectures had a flow to them that kept them engaging but not overwhelming, and the homework was similarly structured. There weren't many required problems on them, but there were a lot of extra practice problems that could be used for studying or mastery. This made the class much more manageable, as the material isn't easy. The tests were also reasonable, for as long as the work was put in, a good grade could be achieved. They definitely weren't easy, but they always felt fair. Overall, he's a great professor and I can't recommend him enough. He's a nice guy with a passion for the subject and a real skill for teaching, and he always makes the math seem approachable and doable.
Also I'd recommend attending his office hours, they're super helpful as he is great at answering questions.
Couldn't have been a better class administrator, and couldn't have been a better lecturer! Nothing else you can really ask for in a math prof, imo.
Best math professor I've had so far. He cares about students more than students care about themselves. I understood more linear algebra in this than I ever did in 33A, and that was supposed to be the lower div. The first math upper div is supposed to be a hard transition, but he made it so natural. He explains stuff so well it literally feels like he goes inside your head and all you have to do is sit there and listen to him. I'm going to take every class he ever teaches at UCLA. Such an amazing professor. Also extremely friendly, he made very considerate accommodations whenever required.

Professor Moreno is an amazing professor, and I HIGHLY recommend u take as many classes with him. This was my first real math class in over a year and a half, and he definitely helped make the topic much more understandable and digestible. He's always ready to answer your questions during office hours or emails, and lecture notes are very clear and concise, and follows the textbook well. The class was broken into homework (20%, only need 75% total to get full homework points), quizzes (40%, quiz every week, 2 are dropped), 1 midterm (15%) and final (25%). Both the midterm and final were very doable, and because of its online nature, he made it a time crunch to minimize the ability of cheating.
Adam is a G. Made the class so doable. I was very intimidated by this class when I took it with another professor so I dropped it. I'm glad I took it with Adam. Lectures are very clear, homework is meaningful yet not overwhelming. If you studied, you'll do well. Bless this man.
Adam is an amazing Professor. He made 115A so digestible and intuitive. I honestly did not like linear algebra that much coming into this class and struggled a bit in 33a but Adams teaching really made me appreciate the topic a lot more. He was always super fair and accommodating and would entertain any questions. Would take every other math class with him if I could
Moreno was amazing, made a feared class seem doable. Really kind and understanding. Followed the textbook really closely, making it easy to study and/or ease confusion. Would take any upper div with him.
