Fall 2021 - TAKE THIS CLASS. I cannot stress enough how amazing this professor is. I am Thai and can speak Thai somewhat fluently, but don't know how to write Thai, so I went into this class with expectations that it'll be on the easier side with some difficulty when it came to reading/writing. But Jenjit went above and beyond to make sure we weren't stressed with this class. She understands that Thai is an intimidating language to learn, and does not expect you to be perfect as long as she can see that you are trying your best. I thought I did poorly on the final, but at the end she told me I did great and I got an A. She is veryyyy sweet, personable, and accommodating. Because not too many students take this course, she is able to make the effort to get to know everyone. Lectures are live, but she posts the recordings online and you don't have to attend the live lectures. Exams usually come in two parts, reading and listening/speaking. Again, very easy to get an A on them as long as you put some effort into it. If you need to fulfill a language requirement, do yourself a favor and take this professor. Another bonus, it's extremely easy to get a spot in this class!!
