Description: Seminar, three hours. Requisite: English Composition 3. First years and sophomores preferred. Students are trained to analyze contemporary novels and short stories in translation from various countries in Latin America, and begin sketching a panorama of representations of motherhood and maternity by Latin American women writers in the 21st century. Satisfies Writing II requirement. Letter grading.
