Human Behavior in Social Environment: Critical Self-Awareness and Intergroup Dialogue
Description: Lecture, two and one half hours per week for five weeks. Introduction to critical self-awareness and intergroup dialogue. Exploration and appreciation of worldviews and experiences of colleagues. Through self-awareness students learn to engage with diversity and difference in social work practice. Through intergroup dialogue, students learn to explore social group identity, conflict, community, and social justice. Letter grading.
