Biobehavioral Mechanisms of Stress and Disease

Description: Lecture, three hours. Designed for graduate psychology students. Behavior/physiology interactions of some major bodily systems: nervous, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and endocrine systems. Usual and altered states of these systems (e.g., stress) as these can promote permanent tissue injuries, disease, or improved bodily function, health enhancement. S/U or letter grading.
