Prof. is always available outside of class. He's a really easy going guy, didn't demand too much not even for the final paper as long as you got your point across. We didn't have any assigned readings or midterms. He really emphasized class discussion. He doesn't really lecture much. Overall good professor, but this was a seminar class.

Difficult concept. Difficult subject. Caring Professor. Open door for those who seek help. Fair testing and grading. Personally I think you shouldn't be judging the professor based on difficult subject but rather his manner of teaching. Prof. Blair has an open mind teaching style based on fair grading. I am taking a different class that he is teaching. Not because I got a good grade but because I feel like I learned something.

Winter 2024 - I want to start by saying Dr. Juvonen is quite possibly the best professor I have had at UCLA. She is so caring and genuinely wants to see us all succeed. I genuinely had no idea where my research was going before this class and she taught us how to conduct and present research in such an organized manner that honestly streamlined the process very well. The topics covered and the teaching/learning methods used were super useful for our research skills development, professional development and group contributions. I would not change anything about this process. I would just have liked this class to be twice a week for 2 hours each instead of once a week for 3 hours because I believe we could've used the extra time productively with healthy discussions and more time for professional advice towards the end of the quarter. BUT the 3 hour chunk was never boring and I never got tired. I always had more to contribute in class. Thank you Dr. Juvonen for making this my favourite class this quarter and probably the most useful class I will ever take at UCLA!!!

Winter 2016 - I took Introduction to neurophilosophy with Dr. Levine, and it is one of my favorite classes so far. Dr. Leving tries to keep the class as fun and engaging as possible, and he seems very laid back. We had to write three medium length papers, as well as take a pop quizzes and a final exam. This was a small class and participation in the class discussions was a significant part of our grade, so if you don't enjoy talking about consciousness, self, and free will with a neuroscience spin on it, this may not be the class for you.
