Spring 2021 - Given the online and open book exam nature of the class, Psych 127C with Chorpita was a breeze. Chorpita is a very approachable and knowledgeable professor, and he definitely presented the material in a way that was easy for us students to comprehend. There were 5 quizzes throughout the quarter with add up to 20% of your grade, but he drops your lowest score which is a plus. The midterm is 35% of your grade while the final is 40%, and the last 5% are for participation. The quizzes and exams weren't difficult at all, but I will admit that there were some tricky questions. Just be sure to really understand what each question is asking and be careful about the exact wording of multiple choice options. There would definitely be more to memorize similar to most classes if the exams weren't open book, but I would definitely recommend taking Chorpita in-person!

Spring 2020 - Haven't even taken the midterm but already feel like the class is shitty... I feel like the professor does not go over material thoroughly and the way he handles class is messy. He also expects so much when he himself does not do such a good job explaining concepts. Totally lowered my interest towards this subject. -------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know why there are more than 30 percent of people getting As in the previous years...
