This professor is straight-up crazy. She takes academia way too seriously. In fact, she yells at individual students without hesitation. Late by a few minutes? You'll be called out and asked to leave immediately. Decide to check the score of the game during lecture? She'll call you out, insult you, and tell you to leave. Doze off during lecture? She'll snap her fingers in front of you, and scream at you to "WAKE UP." If you want to feel like you're in high school again, by all means take this class. The class is about institutionalized racism, not suburbia. The professor is on her high horse every lecture. This being said, it's a relatively easy A. You just have to regurgitate information she gives you on quizzes, reading critiques, the midterm, and the final paper. This class is just a headache over all. Consider whether you're ready for this deal before you sign up.
