Course taken: LS2 I think Dr. Friscia is a really fair professor. I certainly didn't do so well on the first midterm, not as close to as my fellow whose comment is under mine here, but that is because I have underestimated the difficulty of LS. Study everything on his lecture slides, including the diagrams! Everything is there for a reason! Do not overlook anything and you will excel in his class! His lectures are OK for me. They went a little slow, but they are really concise and to the point. Overall: Great and really fair lecturer!

Course: Life Sciences 30B Professor Garfinkel is among the best professors whom I have had here at UCLA. There are very few people who can match his level of lecturing. A very inspirational individual, and a genius at the same time. He can make you realize that math is more enjoyable than you can imagine. Take him, and you will not regret it.
