Spring 2022 - Professor Anderson uses a lot of her lectures and content from Professor Carpentor. This class was fully online with a lot of asynchronous work. Most of the work was done through CCLE with weekly quizzes and was fully at your own pace. You can get ahead as you want, but just stay on top of the deadlines for each week like the quizzes for the covered content. Lectures were not really "lecture" since she only played the videos that we already had to watch on our own and just replayed which was fine since it helped as a refresher. The grading was fair. There was only one midterm and one final. I wished that as an anatomy class there was more hands-on learning since a lot of the learning was done through an online learning system of the human body that was interactive, but possibly not the same as an in-person anatomy class with more hands-on activities. There was A LOT of content covered since the start of the quarter so it can be overwhelming at times, but the quizzes reflect a lot of the pre-recorded videos and lecture slides and pictures of the online learning system.

Summer 2016 - I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about, I found Carpenter to be a very good professor. I took her online course over the summer and she doesn't have many deadlines so it's super useful for me to set up at my own pace. She also provides recommended deadlines, so if you're the type that prefers a set schedule set up than you can use that.. My TA was Judy and she was also helpful. There were weekly modules with quizzes that are basically open book. The midterm is due whenever you want (as long as it's done before the final) and there's a lab section to the class. There is a lecture midterm, lab midterm, lecture final, and lab final. The only downer is that the material is mandatory and expensive. You have to have the required A&P program to complete the lab and extra credit for the class. Overall a good experience so far and this class is extremely helpful to anyone entering the healthcare field. Selling: Human Anatomy textbook + A&P program at a (very!) reduced price.
