Description: Tutorial, three hours. Limited to students in College Honors Program. Designed as adjunct to upper-division lecture course. Individual study with lecture course instructor to explore topics in greater depth through supplemental readings, papers, or other activities. May be repeated for maximum of 4 units. This Professor is a hack whose articles in the Iranian-Jewish Quarterly are misspelled, and negligently researched at best. Worst of all, her course, History111C is listed as "modern middle east politics" when, in reality, it is a myopic study of Iranian Jews taught from a book of poorly cited anecdotes, and which ignores the Persian history completely. Total bait and switch with the course listing, otherwise I'd never have signed up. Stay away if you value your GPA, because she doesn't bother to double check her TAs grading, which was inane and rife with mistakes. Remember: you can't un-take a class in your university career, so research before you commit. One out of four, all 'round.
