Course Taken: LS 2 As everyone has said, he is a great professor. He speaks slowly and clearly and seems genuinely interested in students understanding the material. From taking LS 2 with Bok/Esdin, Bok was definitely the easier of the two professors. His test was extremely fair and I'm pretty sure the average was in the 80's. Study the lecture notes and you'll be fine. He is more about the big picture than the details, so keep that in mind when you study

Took Psych 116 (NOT NEUROBIO 298B as listed) with this professor in conjunction with Dr. Grisham and Dr. Blair. For Dr. Ringach's module, we had to write a report on vision and receptive fields. It was pretty easy, scored a 98/100. As long as you attend office hours, ask a lot of questions, go to lectures, take good notes, and LISTEN, there is no reason to do poorly. I highly recommend him!
