Professor Neuen is one of the most amazing professors i have had at UCLA. When you show up to chorale expect to learn a lot of valuable life lessons in addition to music. Every week he has a new anecdote for us. The man also knows exactly what he's doing. Yes there are times he might lose his temper with the choir, btu that is because we are not doing our best. At the end of every class he always reminds us how intelligent and wonderful we are. His experience in the music world is clearly seen thru the way he deals with people. From the annoying union representatives to the soloists, the accompanists, and the choir. He praises the orchestra many times even though he knows they are getting paid for playing. He treats them as human beings not just some paid robots. Even if Dr. Neuen yells at someone, he follows it up with an appology and advice on how to improve. He is an amazing person. A+++ for Dr. Neuen!
