Description: Activity, four hours. Preparation: audition. Group performance of Western vocal and instrumental music from historical periods prior to 1800. Early instruments may be used at instructor's discretion. May be repeated for credit without limitation. May be concurrently scheduled with course CM90T. S/U or letter grading.

Spring 2022 - I was new to music performance and the Early Music Ensemble and Danielle really helped to make me feel comfortable with participating and learning new material. She was knowledgable and helpful, and willing to meet with me outside of class and office hours to work on pronunciations and technique. The ensemble was fun and engaging and it was easier than I thought to join and start making music. I learned a lot and would definitely take again.
