Description: Lecture, four hours; discussion, one hour. Analysis of forms, practices, and meanings of rock and roll music, broadly conceived, from its origin to present. Emphasis on how this music has reflected and influenced changes in sexual, racial, and class identities and attitudes. Credit for both courses 5 and 185 not allowed. Letter grading.

Fall 2017 - This was actually the very first class I took my freshman year and I loved it. Professors lectures go really well with her slides, easy to take notes to. Tests are very straightforward. Generally just fun and laid back. ALSO I am selling the textbook!! email me @ *************
