Abdou is a decent professor. At first he made the class seem really difficult and I didn't like him very much. He made a discussion section that wasnt on URSA and he was disappointed if you had a time conflict. I couldnt make it and I know this affected my grade. He missed several classes because he is always traveling. By the end of the class I realized that he just cares about how much you learn and he wanted us to be interested in nuclear engineering. I really didn't have to work that hard to get an A-. Overall I would say take this class and this professor for a good elective.
