As a Soc major, I was dreading taking the Math pre-req. But Prof. Greene made this class completely do-able and I actually looked forward to going to class. She is EXTREMELY concerned about student learning and is a very interesting, organized lecturer. She made sure we understood all of the content before moving on and went slowly enough for everyone to fully grasp the concepts. I would absolutely recommend taking Math 2 with her--she is awesome and made this class way easier than I expected! What a sweetheart!

She is kind, cheerful and very engaging. Even when you talk to her on one-on-one basis, she's just as sweet and caring as she is as an effective lecturer. I'm not very good at math, but she actually made class pleasant for me. If you work and understand the material, A should be an obtainable grade. The grading system was very fair. I highly recommend this professor!

The class is pretty easy. But you gotta read the book on your own. Lectures don't really help at all, because the professor is just awful at explaining lessons. But since the material is pretty simple, you could work out understanding the problems from the text itself. Barely anyone shows up to class, and discussion was even worse. The reviews by TA Dustin are really helpful, so make sure to show up to those. There's weekly homework assignments, which is what the midterm and final are based off of. He has 2 midterms and a final. The two midterms are ridiculously easy. The final is a relatively tougher but it's not too bad.
