Spring 2019 - The professor is a very nice person who cares about the well being of the student. It is just that he is not the best instructor. His handwriting is terrible. His lectures are kinda confusing and unorganized. He did not do a very good job explaining the material. Actually, I find the textbook more helpful than the professor.

Fall 2023 - Prof sucked so bad, he made easy trivial material confusing. Great and fun material. It should be easy (u can see Voss' reviews). This class should be super easy, but the prof not only sucks at teaching, he makes it even more confusing. You are definitely better off self learning (and not going to lecture). 75% of the class never showed up to lecture The book is great, explains things well. His slides are straight from the book (and i think he just took Voss' slides). Nice class material, nice workload, pretty easy, prof cannot teach for the love of god. We also ended up skipping one of the biggest prominent models - Black Scholes, due to his organization and clarity.

Winter 2020 - A great guy who cares about the students. He does not mind if you send your work through email to check the workings on proof. One downside, his notes are not organized and lecture could be unclear sometimes. But he is very helpful in explaining the concepts during office hour, just don’t hesitate to raise your concern and ask if you need any help!
