Winter 2025 - Like the previous comment said run like hell from this professor. Exams are worth 90% of your grade, over 90% of the teachers here are in the 60-80% range on their grading rubric meaning that's a difference between an A and C or a B and D. Lecture Material didn't correlate with discussion material, discussion I think was ahead or something like that. Gave us very little homework and the TA gave us the answers to the homework problems. The TA decided he should review the homework in 10 minutes when it was supposed to take over an hour to do was so lost by that. Yesterday I asked the professor if he had any tips on how to study for our upcoming midterm and he just said maybe I'll make a practice worksheet by Sunday night. Anyhow this dude doesn't give any examples Spending too much time on proofs when this is NOT supposed to be a proof-based class yet he says you need proofs to do the homework bro is a hypocrite. Also, the TA spends a lot of time lecturing about the fact you need Math 61 when you can get away with he made me so worried the first day like just chill dude. Anyhow anyone in the school is better than this inconsiderate dude. Good riddance!!! Hope he improves his teaching 90% should be against teaching policies.
