Description: Lecture, four hours. Requisites: courses 200C, 201C. Introduction of developments in ontology of formal semantics, including plurals as formal object, events, situations, times, and degrees. Presentation of empirical motivation for these developments, and some cross-domain parallels supporting them. S/U or letter grading.
