Linguistic Processing
Description: Lecture, four hours. Requisites: courses 165B and/or 200B. Recommended: courses 132 or 232, 201B. Survey of theoretical perspectives and contemporary empirical research in human processing of language (comprehension and/or production), with emphasis on syntactic processing, ambiguity resolution, effects of memory load, and relationship between grammar and processor. S/U or letter grading.
