Fall 2024 - I went into this class thinking it sounded interesting but the professor is an extremely unorganized and boring lecturer. The slides are all over the place and super hard to understand. He uses a bunch of terms that are quite complex and confusing especially if you have no experience with religion or Korean history. While there's not a lot of assignments except really long readings that he doesn't check if you read, the mid-term and final were terrible. For the midterm we had to handwrite two 700 word essays in 1 hour and 15 minutes with no notes . Fortunately the final was take home exam but we had to write 3 essays and he gave us the topics around two days before the due date. I would highly recommend not taking this class. it's a horrible boring time consuming GE
