Fall 2018 - As someone who could barely speak any Korean before taking this class, I am so glad to have taken this class with Professor Ju. She really cares about her students, and in my opinion, is quite good at teaching Korean. While the pacing of this class did feel too fast at some points, Professor Ju did her best to make sure we were learning as well as we could, and she even adjusted the way she taught based on student feedback. Just a heads up, this class can be chill, but you do have to put in work and effort. Each lecture and discussion attendance is worth points, and there are usually either vocab quizzes or homework assignments for every discussion, so as long as you stay on top of everything, this class should be a great experience for you. Totally recommend
