he's the nicest professor i've met at UCLA. just go to his office hour and you'll find out what i mean. his exams were take-home exams and if you keep up with about half the reading, you'll have something to write on your exam and his gradings are very generous. i want to take more of his classes, but he's not teaching too many classes.
