Summer 2015 - This is just like the name says "intensive". I think in a Japanese intensive class it is too much material to learn and digest in just 9 weeks. It might be different if you grew up with knowledge of "Kanji" because you would know how to write and the basic meaning of each character. In my case, the vast amount of Kanji and the daily tests was an overload on my brain. I do not enjoy that kind of stress or pressure. If I had known, I would not have taken this summer course. UCLA's regular schedule is already intense (at least it is for me) so this summer course way was too intense.
