Description: Seminar, one hour. Through case study approach, consideration of how heat interfaces with human biology, public health, policy, education, fashion and popular media, (in)accessible infrastructure, and other topics to sustain racism. Critical examination of how one's natural and built environments shape everyday life to produce interdisciplinary approach to reconsider heat and racism and re-imagine anti-racism in environmental justice.
