Professor Leavitt is by far one of my most favorite professor. She's not only knowledgeable, but also very kind. You can tell that she has a passion for teaching her students. She's always willing to take time to help you with your assignments. Her lectures are informative and she tries to bring in as many interesting guest speakers as possible so the course is never dry! There were two assignments: (1) a research paper that was no more than 7 pages long and (2) a group assignment, where the class as a whole decides what they want to do. I would definitely recommend this class if you're interesting in learning something that is not typical. She is always super understanding, even when you accidentally miss a class because you slept through it. She's awesome.
