Most Helpful Review
I took an honors collegium (Anomalies of the English Language) with Professor Stockwell last quarter despite the funky reviews. It turns out that he has a TON of knowledge about his subject. Class discussions were always really interesting, and I thought I got a good overview of the field without dipping too far in. The class itself wasn't too hard. Weekly assignments and a 10 page paper at the end of class. Sometimes the material was a little confusing, but that didn't affect the grade I got, if you know what I mean. I highly recommend taking one of his classes. And he's awfully nice.
