Winter 2025 - SUCH a good class and professor! Professor DeLoughrey is very insightful and kind. The class has expanded the the way I view climate change overall. Student discussion is key throughout the course. Every class has a group of students present on the week's readings while prompting us with discussion questions throughout the presentation. This takes up the whole three hours of class. However, the presentations were fantastic and we were very enthusiastic in our participation. Be ready to stay on top of the readings for the entire quarter! The content of our weekly discussion posts are brought up during class as a way to kickstart discussion. The books and articles are worth it, though. I found myself naturally having thoughts to share after reading them.
