Description: Seminar, three hours. Enforced requisite: satisfaction of Entry-Level Writing requirement. Freshmen/sophomores preferred. Exploration of historical settler colonialism by engaging with research on U.S., Canada, Australia, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and other country cases. Examination of scholarship both highly critical of settler societies and for them. Letter grading.
