Professor Weiner is fabulous! She is the nicest Professor that I have had at UCLA. I sprained my arm b4 the midterm and she let me type it. I had another final on the day of her final and she let me take them at an alternate day! Some found the class boring, but I am PREMED so I liked learning about the history of medicine. If you read the assigned material (not all the background reading), and you come to class...take good notes!...then you should get an A. Her midterm was part ID, part essay and was pretty easy most of the class got A's/B's. The final was a bit tougher, but if you had done the reading all quarter you were fine. She is not a very picky grader, and she very willing to answer questions. Really good about emailing people back. Take her if you want a nice chill history class.
