Professor Reiff is really nice! She isn't SUPER exciting but you can tell she is a really nice lady and cares about her lectures and students. I had her for the LA Cluster and she definitely wanted students to learn about LA and all it has to offer. I would definitely recommend her!

Toohey has an amazing sense of humor. Sure, its corny, dry and overly sarcastic- but I believe that is the best humor out there. Taking him during the 2008 elections was not only exciting but very relevant (especially due to proposition 8). He does lecture in a monotone manner but he often opens the floor to student input on different cases and truly makes you think critically. Not only is he very thorough with the material, but the slides he uses are very helpful when reviewing for the midterm. His exams aren't too hard if you do the document reading, review his slides and put some thought in your essays- I'm expecting a high A. All in all, if you're looking for an articulate and witty professor along with learning about significant constitutional cases that are actually pretty interesting, I would definitely recommend his class.

Class: HISTORY OF MEDICINE: ANCIENT HEALING ARTS Such a sweet professor. She truly cares so much about her students. Class is really straightforward and not much reading is required. She is super understanding! Midterm was ten IDs and a take home midterm essay Attendance is not mandatory but go because she goes over the supplemental readings.

I took SE A ST 1 with Professor Woods and, although I had no connection the topic and no real interest, he was wonderful in giving information. His lectures are pretty simple, he tells funny stories and they end early very often. The midterm and final are fair, and he gives you study guides so you know exactly what you need to study which is extremely helpful. The readings are interesting, but not necessary at all since you simply are recommended to state them in your exams but not required. There is one 10 pages paper which is a little rough, but it is about any topic of your choice. the TA's are amazing and very fair, and Professor Woods was a very fun and sweet professor. I would recommend his class, a pretty easy A.
