Fall 2023 - This class WOULD NOT END. Momdjian is just not a clear or engaging lecturer in the slightest and each week seems to be just a random topic she decides to speak on. The readings are too long & too dense and she never actually goes over them so you never feel like you get clarification on anything. The grading & assignments are not hard at all and you will get an A if you put in the effort but I would not take this again.

Good Lecturer and a funny guy who really knows his stuff on Arab Provinces in the Ottoman Empire, the experience only got better with Nefertiti as my TA, she was awesome! Anyways, discussion section, final, midterm make up the grade in this class, and it's not a terribly hard class, but the readings were very complex, nevertheless take him, he's really cool!
